My Dad’s Birthday

Today is my Dad’s 50th birthday so I thought I would make him something special. I made him a Poster (frame and all) for this momentous occasion. I just hope he doesn’t check my site often because I haven’t shown him yet. I drew my inspiration for this piece from posters from the show Flight of the Conchords.

Entries for Motion Conference
September 18th, 2009Hey everyone,
Today I finished my reel motion 09 entry and my Interstitial entry. I replaced some pieces in my reel with some stronger ones and will be updating it on my main page in the next couple of days. In my interstitial I added an element of color which really makes it pop quite a bit more. The music and sound effects for the piece were composed by my new room mate and awesome friend Chris Najera. His audio work really pulls the piece together. In other news I heard from Jamie Caliri on Wednesday the 16th at Ex’pression College for Digital Arts. He is such an inspirational designer and his work is absolutely amazing. If anything it would be awesome to get into Motion 09 just to hear him speak again.

I got the blog up and running for my website. On this blog I will keep up to date posts on current projects I am working on and motion pieces that I find that inspire me. Right now I need to finish the print section of my website, add a resume page and finish setting the style of this wordpress blog. That’s all I have for now.
